As of April 2016, Schiller International University Heidelberg will offer a unique MBA program specifically designed for working professionals. All courses will be offered on weekends, with three weekends building one class. With this flexible structure, the program addresses Professionals from all industries with relevant work experience wishing to prepare for more advanced leadership and executive roles.
The 36-credit Master of Business Administration (MBA) program requires coursework focusing on managerial aspects of finance, accounting, marketing, and management. Case studies are designed to prepare students for managerial positions in small businesses as well as large multinational companies. Our students will be able to expand their business knowledge and leadership abilities through dissertation concentrating on the various aspects of business operations and management.
MBA graduates are highly desirable in today’s market. Pursuing an MBA degree will open up doors of opportunity and provide the necessary leverage for corporate advancement to those who possess them. As the current marketplace evolves and becomes more complex, many employers are choosing to balance their need to retain good employees with their need to place candidates with advanced-level knowledge and skills in managerial positions.
Students who wish to complete an MBA focusing on International Business, Management of Information Technology, or in International Hospitality and Tourism Management must complete additional required courses in these majors. Students obtaining their MBA with Schiller International University will at the same time be eligible to obtain an EU accredited MBA degree from the University of Roehampton – London campus.
