IT 500 – Management Information Systems
IT 500 Management Information Systems (3) Prerequisite: Graduate standing. A comprehensive overview of information systems and the management of these functions. Emphasis on introducing computer hardware, software, procedures, systems, and human resources. The course includes discussions and readings on conceptual and practical foundations of information processing systems support for management. Topics include decision-making functions, computer system project management, economic, ethical, and legal considerations of management information systems, system implementation, and evaluation.
