The United Nations Role in addressing the Crisis in the Central African Republic

Mr. Beppe Lovoi, a Political Affairs Officer for the United Nations mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), holds a BA from the American University of Beirut and a MA from the University of Bocconi. Prior to joining MINUSCA, Mr. Lovoi, worked for a NGO in Pakistan and subsequently as a member of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs at the UN Secretariat in New York as well as in the Department of Political Affairs. In his career, Mr. Lovoi has also worked in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Mr. Lovoi joined the UN at the age of 21 after completing his BA in business-related studies.
The lecture will take place at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, the 24th of August.
Mr. Lovoi will be happy to field questions on the topic of his lecture as well as on his experience working for a UN field mission.
